Umbro Dinners - A Taste of Umbria
On the first and third Thursdays of the month, Umbriacooks4u offers rustic Umbro dinners that feature centuries-old regional specialties. Tita prepares the meals from fresh, locally produced ingredients--many of them from the garden she keeps outside her beautiful countryside home in Fontanabella, five miles outside of Perugia.
When you join one of our Umbro dinners, you will be seated at an elegantly set dining room table in Tita’s beautiful home. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and we want you to feel as though you are family. Conversation tends to be lively, and Nonie always makes a point of telling guests about the Umbrian-Italian culture and about the history of our friendship and of Tita’s home.
Since Tita’s table accommodates four to twelve guests, and usually fills up quickly, we suggest you make your reservations to join us as soon as possible. Consider reserving before you begin your trip.
Our regularly scheduled dinners are the first and third Thursdays of the month, however if you would like to participate but need to change the day, just let us know and we will do our best to arrange a dinner for you.
